Your new role
In this position, you will ensure food safety, quality, legality, and authenticity across operations. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing compliance standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your duties will include conducting audits and inspections, developing and maintaining compliance documentation, and training staff on regulatory requirements and compliance procedures. Additionally, you will support operational teams with equipment calibration and monitoring, and manage risks to ensure product safety and legality.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have strong knowledge of BRCGS standards and expertise in HACCP, VACCP, TACCP, and Quality Management systems. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer web-based platforms, are essential. Desirable qualifications include a third-level food-related degree, train the trainer certification, and Level 3 or above HACCP and Food Safety certificates. Experience in customer relationship management, allergen training, and knowledge of retailer standards, audits, and the bakery industry will be beneficial.
