Position: Cleaner
Location: Eastbourne
Hours: 12.5 hours per week over 5 days (5:00pm to 7:30pm, Monday to Friday)
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a cleaner to join our Head Office Premises Team, based in Eastbourne, on a part-time basis.
As a cleaner, some of your responsibilities will include:
1. Carry out daily cleaning of office areas, meeting rooms, toilets, kitchens, and common spaces to a high standard.
2. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.
3. Manage cleaning supplies and report when stock needs replenishing.
4. Handle waste disposal and recycling in line with company policies.
5. Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks and quality checks.
6. Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, safe environment.
Who we are looking for:
1. Previous experience in key holding services or building security work is an advantage, but not essential.
2. Experience in facilities management or soft services is preferred.
3. Knowledge of relevant Health & Safety practices, including COSHH regulations, to maintain a safe working environment.
4. Strong organisational skills – able to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
5. Attention to detail – a keen eye for spotting areas that need improvement and maintaining cleanliness to the highest standard.
6. Initiative and problem-solving abilities – comfortable making decisions and addressing challenges as they arise.
7. Excellent communication skills – able to confidently engage with staff at all levels.
