Job Description Job Title: NPD Account Manager Location: Dungannon, Northern Ireland Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an NPD Account Manager at a leading FMCG organization in Dungannon. This role offers the chance to work within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the successful launch of innovative new products while maintaining efficiency and safety standards. As the company continues to grow and expand within the UK and Ireland, this position will play a key role in supporting the business development strategy across the entire customer base. As a vital representative of the New Product Development team, you will have opportunities for personal and professional growth while collaborating with various departments to support a high-performing NPD team. Key Responsibilities: Manage the NPD process to ensure successful launches of new and re-developed products, aligning with customer codes of practice and collaborating with all relevant stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by liaising with key personnel. Collaborate closely with Development Chefs and the Commercial Team to ensure that all information is shared, approved, and aligned with project briefs. Scale up product concepts from Development Chefs in a professional and organized manner for accurate presentation to customers. Work with various site disciplines to guarantee the food safety, quality, and legality of all new and modified products. Maintain accurate records of NPD activities to ensure compliance with audit requirements. Stay proactive regarding food trends and innovations, working alongside Development Chefs, the Marketing Team, and customers. Engage with new processes, machinery, and product improvements, including undertaking R&D projects as needed. Communicate effectively with suppliers, third parties, and external experts to enhance product development. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and deliver food-safe, legally compliant products from the site. Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the food industry, preferably in a product development role. A qualification in Science, Food Science, or a related discipline at a higher education level, or equivalent industry experience. Familiarity with the workings of foodservice and retail customers, including experience with major UK retailers. Strong organizational skills to manage and develop multiple projects effectively. Knowledge of food science and manufacturing processes. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, at all levels. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Willingness to expand your knowledge beyond core experience. A full UK driving license and the ability to travel to UK sites/customers as required.
