Our commitment to a flexible and hybrid working culture Key Accountabilities Responsible for the UK IT Workplace team in Digital Enterprise Platforms ensuring we meet the operational and financial needs of the company, helping it reach both its short-term and long-term growth goals. Responsible for management, and support of 1600 end users across 20 UK sites, Northern Ireland and Paris. Ensure the 2nd line operational support and maintenance for end user devices, local applications and meeting room technologies meet agreed service levels including VIP rapid response. Accountable for the IT waste disposal, data sanitisation and sustainability reporting to help Arqiva achieve its net zero and contractual targets. Accountable for onsite and offsite audio and visual demand, ensure internal and external facing customer conferences, companywide broadcasts and shareholder events are appropriately resourced, and equipment meets the desired level of quality. Drive and deliver team engagement, mentoring members of the team, conducting performance reviews and managing engagement to high levels. Responsible for managing key dependencies and interfaces between projects and work streams, resolving any issues escalated between project managers and Digital Enterprise Platforms to ensure efficient delivery of end user technologies and services. Provide technical leadership and guidance for the Workplace Team, acting as the point of contact for escalations. Accountable for the IT Asset & Software manager and multidisciplined team of Digital Enterprise Workplace analysts. Manage 3rd party suppliers and partners to ensure they deliver business value in line with our support contract and budgeted maintenance spend of £3-4M. Manage the key dependencies and interfaces between IT Workplace, Executive Administrators, Facilities, Cybersecurity, IT ServiceDesk and IT Platforms. Bring a commercial perspective to the operation, with a particular focus on cash management, cash preservation and optimising returns on investments made in assets and tools. Forecast capital and operational costs and deliver services within the defined budgets and reduce costs where possible. Identify risks within the IT Workplace, Asset and Software Team(s) and take action to ensure appropriate mitigation/management of the risk is taken. Responsible for Asset Lifecycle Management framework across all IT assets under the Workplace team which includes availability, incident, capacity, problem, risk, financial and security management. Drive innovation, both small and large with a continuous improvement (CI) mind-set. Ensure all designs meet the architecture standards, security requirements and approved at appropriate Design boards Workplace manager to sign off any changes and ensure risks are fully managed using the risk management process. Qualifications: Either Bachelors Degree in Computing Sciences or relevant experience. ITIL certified above foundation. Required Expertise: Experience in technical management of a multidisciplined team of Analysts. Exceptional technical understanding and knowledge in Digital Enterprise technologies. Proven track record delivering high availability IT services. Experience leading technical teams, scheduling / prioritising tasks, and overseeing the delivery of technical projects. Experience collaborating with suppliers – both developing new services/capabilities and driving 3rd parties to resolve and fix functionality issues and errors. Desired experience in project management role Required Technical / Professional Skillset(s): Strong knowledge of Enterprise technologies involved in Digital Enterprise Platforms (IT) including Office 365, Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, ServiceNow, InTune, Virtual workstations, iOS, MacOS, MS Teams room systems and end user IT hardware.
