About The Role
Sunbelt Rentals Broadcast & Events is looking for a skilled and motivated AV Technician to join our specialist team supporting high-profile live music, corporate events, and broadcast productions. Youll be working with top-tier equipment and a passionate team, helping deliver technically flawless experiences for our clients across the UK and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare, test, and configure AV equipment for deployment across a range of event types.
2. Support on-site installations, setup, operation, and de-rig of AV systems including video walls, projectors, media servers, switching, and control systems.
3. Work closely with project managers, clients, and freelance teams to ensure all technical needs are met.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively on-site and in prep.
5. Assist with maintenance and return checks of AV equipment to ensure its event-ready.
6. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in both warehouse and live event settings.
7. Keep up to date with new technologies and contribute to continuous improvement across the team.

About You

1. Experience working as an AV Technician in live events, broadcast, or corporate environments.
2. Good working knowledge of video systems including LED walls, projection, media servers, and signal distribution.
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cable plots.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and a calm, professional attitude under pressure.
5. Flexibility to work irregular hours, travel, and stay away as required by projects.
6. Full UK driving licence preferred.
7. Industry qualifications (e.g., IPAF, PASMA, manufacturer training) are a bonus.
