Job Overview: Working alongside our client, a leading manufacturer of coated metal, we are looking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team Remit: As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for carrying out all reactive, routine and preventative maintenance to ensure the smooth running of all machines to achieve maximum output in terms of machine availability. Ideal candidates will possess solid mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance skills, along with demonstrated experience in electrical fault finding, supported by relevant electrical qualifications. This is an excellent position offering a 3 day working week, with no weekend work. Responsibilities: Diagnosis and repair of special purpose equipment maximizing availability Formulation and execution of effective (value added) planned maintenance (PM) to increase reliability Prioritisation, validation and completion of maintenance requests raised Control of Stores Inventory using engineering database and PO system Pilot key equipment using maintenance key performance indicators (KPI’s) to formulate and execute improvement action plans Mentor and support to maintenance apprentices Experience Requirements: Educated/qualification in electrical and mechanical engineering with a minimum of 3 years’ experience, ideally with a background in heavy plant and machinery.
