The client is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere and are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor who can deliver on the up keeping of the building. Due to the demand to servicing their discerning clients, they are looking for like minded individuals who have worked in similar high end accommodation with experience in maintenance operations to join their team on a permanent basis. Job Description As a Shift Engineer you will be responsible for: H&S of the property Maintaining daily logs of all maintenance issues with the team and making sure all work is carried out Used to working in a small team of engineers Supporting other engineers in daily tasks & duties Improving quality control and service throughout the building Implementing and making sure policies and procedures are adhered to at all times along with the team Regular meetings with the Chiek Engineer to discuss maintenance issues and resolving problems Great communication skills The Ideal candidate will be: Experienced in a similar Maintenance/Shift Engineer role within a hotel environment Be able to work within a a small team Able to communicate at all levels with the front desk and house keeping teams Being able to act upon different maintenance issues including plumbing, repairs, equipment and physical tasks and solving issues Be able to give verbal and written communication at all times Used to being on their feet Being proactive and being able to think on their feet Used to dealing with different types of clientele with customer service being the top priority The ideal candidate will have great organisational skills along with the passion and commitment in driving excellent service to the clientele and a proven track record in maintenance control.
