Position Summary
Manufacturing Support Coordinator will assist Team Leader/Manager to assure adherence of the multi-dose production schedule and ensure area stays in compliance with policies and procedures set forth by Zoetis and governing regulatory agencies. Manufacturing Support Coordinator will also oversee delegating tasks and duties for other technicians in the production area.
Additionally, the Manufacturing Support Coordinator will be tasked with special projects, assisting with the interviewing process of new applicants, presenting (Ex: safety training), training and signing off new technicians, inventory accountability, tracking KPI’s (Key Production Indicators), and various other duties.
Hours: 1st shift, 6:00am – 2:30pm. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.
Position Responsibilities
Program Knowledge:
1. ETS – Creating & writing: change control, EMR reports, incident/deviations, effectiveness checks, historical reviews, etc.…
2. SAP – Completions, ECR’s (BOM updates & BOM creations), creating PO’s, inventory adjustments, sub-lotting, work orders, inventory transfers, etc.…
3. MODA – Printing labels, saving/printing trends (room & personnel)
4. Veeva Vault – Updating & creating: SOP’s, attachments, job aids, knowledge checks, risk assessments, OJT’s, app pages, etc.…
5. Learning Zone – Admin (sign off ability for SOP/OJT completion).
6. Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.…
7. Other Programs – Ariba, Kronos
Role Description
8. Sub-supervise employees working in the area.
9. Assist Team Leader in complying with Zoetis policies and procedures.
10. Initiate activities related to equipment repair, media/equipment requirements with internal and external customers.
11. Actively participate/lead special project teams.
12. Assist supervision to coordinate and prioritize personnel and production schedules.
13. Inform supervisor of production issues and concerns and provide potential solutions.
14. Lead special projects, experiments, and evaluations as directed.
15. Review completed process worksheets and log sheets for accuracy, as directed.
16. Assist with the implementation of approved process/procedural changes.
17. Conduct employee training (classroom and/or OJT) and OJT audits.
18. Interact positively with personnel at all levels to maintain and contribute to a motivational environment.
19. Make presentations, both written and verbal, to peer and supervisory groups
20. Act as a liaison between departments to facilitate the flow of information.
21. Interact with inventory management team, as required.
22. Contribute to performance appraisals.
23. Initiate contact and/or work with vendors concerning special projects.
24. Evaluate and recommend the purchase of operating and capital budget items.
25. Make designated supervisory decisions.
26. Assist with employee interviews for new job hires. Contribute to performance appraisals.
27. Train and apply cGMP to assigned work.
28. Read and follow MSDS guidelines.
29. Assist with reading and reporting testing results using scientific instruments.
30. Learn and comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
31. Demonstrate reliability in attendance and punctuality (lead by example).
32. Complete and review documentation for RFT.
33. Perform lab processes using Aseptic Technique in a clean room environment.
34. Operate CIP/SIP on equipment.
35. Order raw materials and supplies from warehouse operations.
36. Apply 5S to create standard work and good housekeeping.
37. Track and present KPI’s (Key Product Indicators).
Education and Experience
38. Two years science degree or equivalent.
39. Four years relevant experience (Capping, Filling, Lyophilization).
40. Working knowledge of industrial biology, industrial microbiology, or industrial chemistry.
41. Working knowledge of computers.
42. Mechanical skills (troubleshooting).
43. Working knowledge of USDA, European, and GMP requirements.
44. Expertise in aseptic technique.
