Due to expansion they are looking for an office-based Media Sales & Account Manager to complement their exisiting sales team of six. Friendly, professional and team-orientated work ethos and culture. The Sales & Account Manager will need previous sales experience ideally within advertising sales however candidates with sales experience in other sectors should apply as comprehensive training will be provided and more important is enthusiasm and communication. Persistence, determination and self-motivation are key as is the ability to engage with clients to build ongoing business relationships. Formal training and the opportunity for career progression as the company continues to grow. The role involves prospecting for new business, developing sound market knowledge, responding to incoming email and telephone enquiries and building good working relationships with prospects and advertisers. In addition you will be liaising with other departments including editorial, to ensure the smooth running of the website and magazine and representing the company at exhibitions, conferences and events.
