Location: Blended between office and home (England and Wales) with 2 days a week in the office.
Citizens Advice offers confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free. Through our national network of charities, we give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever their problem.
The role
We have a great opportunity for someone that is proactive and works well in a fast-paced environment to join our Wales team as a Business Support Officer and help us make a difference by supporting the effective functioning of Citizens Advice in Wales.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient functioning of our team, supporting the Director of Wales and the wider Wales team, prioritising work and dealing with stakeholders and the team's requirements.
Duties will include the maintenance of local systems, including finance systems, organisation and planning of committee meetings, development of presentations, drafting agenda, liaising with external partners and planning ahead on behalf of the whole Wales team.
You will also be required to carry out general administration duties to support the effective delivery of the Cardiff office and be a first line of contact for any facilities or building management queries to help ensure there is an effective and functioning Cardiff office for employees to work from.
You will have the ability to work on your own initiative whilst actively participating in wider teamwork. Excellent communication, organisational and numeracy skills are essential.

* Highly organised and experienced with proven ability to provide a wide range of administrative support and be comfortable working proactively and at pace within a busy office.
* Ability to support and maintain processes and systems at pace including experience supporting diary management, finance systems, communicating with different team members in a large organisation and with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Ability to manage priorities and workload adapting as necessary to meet deadlines under pressure.
* Ability to utilise a range of IT packages and digital tools, particularly Google Suite, to effectively and efficiently support the smooth running of a team.
