What’s the role?
1. Provide First/Second Line Support: Address IT-related issues and queries promptly.
2. Troubleshoot Problems: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
3. System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
4. Infrastructure Monitoring: Ensure servers and networks are running smoothly.
5. Employee Support: Assist with IT equipment setup and support for new hires.
6. Documentation: Keep detailed records of issues and resolutions using our ticketing system.
7. Collaboration: Work with other IT team members to improve system performance and reliability.
8. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest technology trends and best practices.
What are we looking for?
1. Experience: Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar role.
2. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux and Android operating systems, network protocols, and troubleshooting.
3. Tools Proficiency: Experience with IT service management tools.
4. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
5. Communication: Strong communication skills to explain technical issues clearly.
6. Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
