As a Registered Nurse, you will ensure that the highest standard of clinical care is delivered to residents at all times, within company policies and procedures and the NMC Code of Conduct, promoting each person’s privacy, dignity and independence. This is a busy, varied and rewarding role which will give you the autonomy to care for our residents, whether you are monitoring a resident’s blood sugar levels, administering medication, giving a detailed handover to the team on the next shift, or assisting a resident at the end of their life. You will be fully supported and be working in a fantastic team. You will work with the management team and other trained nurses in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating quality nursing care. It will be important to you that the residents are enabled to fully participate in decisions affecting their lives, embracing the philosophy of person-centred care, to ensure all options are explored to have the residents’ decisions and choices met.
