Description
We are looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a local engineering firm. This can be on a temporary or long term basis depending on availability.
Key tasks:
* Read and understand all drawings
* Heavy mechanical fitting
* MIG Flux Core and Stick welding - FCAW & SMAW
* Some TIG welding - aluminium and stainless steel
* Working to tight deadlines
Skills & attributes required:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in heavy mechanical engineering
* Be a competent Heavy Fabricator or Fitter Welder
* Ability to work unsupervised and complete a task from start to finish alone
* Ability to fabricate accurately from technical drawings
* A strong commitment to Health & Safety
