Repairs Schedulers required to lead a team of 5-6 trades people (roofers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers) and act as their main point of contact. Our ideal person will be a trades person who has the desire and skills to move into an office-based role. The purpose of the role is to ensure efficiencies by communicating with trades on-site to offer guidance, ensure jobs are run to time and reduce the need for follow-on works. Communication, organisation and problem-solving are some of the key skills required for this role. Main Responsibilities: Running daily schedules for team of 5-6 trade Operatives (electricians, plumbers, etc) Continually liaising with trade Operatives, tenants and clients (local authority or housing association) by phone, email and live chat regarding updates on repairs Arranging parts or materials for click/collect where not available from usual suppliers Logging multiple engineer work requests onto the in-house job management system and tracking each request through to completion Essential Skills / Experience for this role: Excellent communication and listening skills Ability to multi-task to manage a demanding workload in a fast-paced environment Ex-trades person wanting to move into an office role using their site knowledge.
