We are looking for a skilled Instrument Assembler to join a leading scientific instrumentation manufacturer. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly skilled production team, assembling and testing high-quality vacuum instruments used in cutting-edge industries. Key Responsibilities: Assemble high-precision scientific instruments from kits of parts. Conduct inspections to ensure all instrument assemblies meet quality standards. Carry out repairs and modifications as needed. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings. Follow circuit diagrams to build wiring looms, including soldering and crimping. Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience as an Instrument Assembler or similar role in electro-mechanical system manufacturing. Hands-on experience assembling machined precision-engineered parts. Ability to use hand and power tools with strong manual dexterity. Understanding of vacuum-based scientific instrumentation (preferred). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
