We are seeking to hire a Plant Controller with manufacturing industry experience and comfortable with all aspects of Controllership including cost accounting principles. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Partner with Plant Manager of the site to provide pertinent data to establish Operational and Financial goal alignment and drive towards results. Shines the light on areas of opportunity and challenges the business to implement changes for financial improvement. - Act as a core member of the plant's Senior Leadership Team: supporting managers of various functions in their decision making and providing a different perspective on how best to drive the plant forward. - Contribute to process improvement ideation, team involvement, and independently manage projects utilizing DBS/lean tools to achieve improvements in Operation cost structure as well financial controls, reporting and SAP processes - Take control of, and prioritize, your own work schedule according to urgency and impact of the tasks at hand, in a dynamic environment. - Ensure that effective and adequate internal controls are in place to maintain compliance with: US GAAP, SOX, Corporate policies and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial reporting as well as the protection of company assets. - Lead the financial closing process for site, ensuring all deliverable dates are met, preparing and presenting daily/weekly/monthly financial results (including monthly financial performance package) to site operational team. Provides analytical analysis utilizing key Operational KPIs and leads financial closing process for site ensuring all deliverable dates are met. - Coordinate and lead the preparation of annual budget process for the site including analysis of the variances. This encompasses operational budgets at the cost center level within the site and monthly forecast updates as needed. The essential requirements of the job include: - Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting and/or Finance, or QBE (preferred CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CPA or CMA). - Significant experience in general/cost accounting, standard cost, and manufacturing finance. - Strong Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and Statutory and Tax Compliance related experience. - Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP is desired. - Strong analytical skills with ability to articulate financial performance in a clear, concise manner to senior management. - Tenacity to drive for results and hold others, including leaders, accountable for delivering on their commitments.
