Julia’s House, the Dorset and Wiltshire Children’s Hospice charity, is seeking volunteers to help out at its friendly shop in Bransgore, Dorset.
The charity’s shops rely on volunteers throughout the week and are looking for:
1. Till operatives to serve customers and keep them informed about the charity’s work.
2. Volunteers to help in our sorting room.
Various shifts are available; however, we would particularly like support on:
1. Tuesday (Morning or Afternoon)
2. Thursday (Morning or Afternoon)
3. Friday (Morning or Afternoon)
4. Saturday (Morning or Afternoon)
If you have a few hours to spare and would like to help, please do get in touch.
Volunteering has many benefits, including building confidence, reducing stress, learning new skills, making friends, and having fun. You don’t need prior experience to volunteer at Julia’s House, as we provide all the necessary training. You just need to be friendly, reliable, and willing to learn. Supporting your local community makes a significant difference to the children and families we care for locally.
For more information or to apply, please contact our Volunteer Team by emailing [emailprotected] or by completing our volunteer enquiry form.
