An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Fleet Contract Manager to join our Field Operations team.

As a dedicated Fleet Contract Manager you will be an integral part of achieving this, assisting our operatives to keep our customers power flowing. You will be responsible for the contract management of our industrial fleet vehicles and specialist plant leased from VLS together with the contract for the provision of fuel with the fuel provider. Contributing to internal requirements for vehicle provision, specification and maintenance ensuring optimum operational performance in line with our business plan whilst supporting the Operator License legal requirements, contributing to the Safety Health Improvement Plan and environmental improvement initiatives.
Along with a competitive salary between £39,032 – £51,782 dependent on experience + 10% discretionary performance bonus.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary duties and responsibilities of this position encompass extensive liaison with our fleet management company VLS (Commercial Manager, Contract Manager, Accounts) and contract managing the relationship and commercial requirements of the business.
•Leading and implement the annual renewal programmes in line with fleet strategy, business plan priorities and the operational requirements of the end users.
•Ownership of the provision of fuel for the fleet as well as participation in fuel risk planning and mitigation.
•Supporting our fleet management company in relation to vehicle and equipment tenders.
•Managing with internal customer vehicle issues.
•Leading monthly performance reviews with the VLS Commercial Manager.
•Lead the monthly Transport Forum with a range of business stakeholders.
•Business planning, forecasting and financial responsibility of indirect and capital spend.
•Monthly financial reconciliation and planning.
•Analysis in areas such as fuel usage, vehicle utilisation and ratios and telematics.
•Submission of routine reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis for stakeholder and management consumption.
•Support fleet legal compliance and driver training if required.

•Excellent planning, organisation, prioritisation and attention to details
•Good interpersonal skills and able to work collaboratively with senior managers, internal customers and external suppliers.
Essential Qualifications and Attributes:
•Degree or equivalent or proven experience of working with an industrial fleet
•Full driving license
