6. Follow clear direction and guidance, working as part of a team to function at the highest possible level.
7. Support the home in attaining its legislative requirements.
8. Ability to be resilient, solution-focused, motivating, and insightful of the children to contribute to their successful outcomes.
9. Flexibility and creative approaches to working, including commitment to a flexible work pattern with regular sleep-ins and weekends.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
As the Residential Child Care Worker, you will have the following:
1. Must have a passion to work with children.
2. QCF Level 3 Children & Young People (or equivalent) or Health & Social Care, or be willing to work towards.
3. Flexibility and understanding is a must, as the service is open all year round and willingness to work sleep-in shifts.
4. Must have an understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
5. Driving licence.
