Commercial Finance Lead | Tech | Manchester / Hybrid
We’re supporting a fast-growing telecoms provider in their search for a commercial finance manager to step into a newly created Commercial Finance Lead role.
This is a high-impact position designed to drive margin improvement, cost optimisation, and commercial decision-making across the business. You’ll work closely with stakeholders in Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align financial insight with strategic growth.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading commercial modelling and supporting pricing strategies
* Managing vendor and supplier relationships, including negotiation of commercial terms
* Identifying opportunities to improve margins across Cost of Sales, Capex, and Overheads
* Supporting bids and sales activity with clear financial evaluation and costing
* Working alongside Product and Sales to track propositions and spot opportunities for revenue growth
* Delivering monthly commercial performance reporting and supporting budgeting/forecasting
The ideal candidate will have:
✔ Experience in a telecoms/ISP/MSP environment
✔ Strong financial modelling and commercial analysis skills
✔ A track record of improving commercial outcomes
The confidence to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
✔ A hands-on, proactive approach with strong communication skills
📍 Hybrid role (2–3 days in Manchester office)
Occasional travel required
