We have an excellent opportunity for a Website and Digital Project Manager to join one of the largest and oldest Friendly Societies in the UK at their head office in Manchester.
About the role
Our client is a non-profit mutual offering social opportunities and welfare support to its members across 99 Branches nationwide. As the Website and Digital Project Manager, you will:
1. Take a lead role in maintaining and improving the website, working with agency partners
2. Work collaboratively across the organisation to take forward digital projects that will improve the user experiences of members and prospective members
3. Manage the day-to-day smooth operation of various digital projects, which may include introducing new online tools, deployment of CRM systems and applications
4. Be the champion of UX thinking and passionate about resolving user pain points through great digital design
5. Manage and deliver digital projects within quality, time and budget requirements
6. Use your communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams
Responsibilities
7. Maintenance and upkeep of the organisation’s website
8. Improve and optimise user experience on the website
9. Introduce documentation and process information for the website
10. Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop and implement digital projects
11. Manage relationships with our digital agencies
12. Provide end-to-end project management
13. Scope project requirements and prepare budgets
14. Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress
15. Deliver projects on time ensuring quality standards are met
16. Develop supporting documentation including requirement specifications
17. Monitor and report on Google Analytics metrics
18. Communicate with stakeholders and ensure all members are on board with delegated tasks
19. Highlight potential risks or malfunctions and act proactively to resolve issues
20. Seek opportunities for improvement and suggest new projects
About the rewards
For the role of Website and Digital Project Manager, you will work 34 hours per and you will receive a salary of £38,000 to £44,000 per annum depending on experience.

To be successful for the role of Website and Digital Project Manager, you need to be a tech-savvy professional with an in-depth understanding of how technology can help the organisation achieve their business goals. The ideal candidate will be a strategic digital thinker, who is also happy to take a hands-on role on a day-to-day basis, and you need to have / be:
21. Methodical and have excellent time management skills
22. Proven work experience in a similar role
23. Hands on experience with project management software
24. Experience working with agencies and managing agency relationships
25. Familiarity with Content Management systems and HTML/CSS
26. Understanding of SEO and Google Analytics
27. Have experience across a range of systems and reporting tools
28. Knowledge of User Experience software
29. Solid technical background with an ability to address accessibility and compatibility issues
30. Excellent organisation and time management skills
31. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal (including strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships)
32. Will be data driven – able to interpret data and suggest improvements from insights
33. Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline and three or more years’ experience in a similar role
