About you…
* A degree in Social Work and Social Work England registration.
* An ability to mentor and supervise other social workers and social work assistants.
* To lead on and role model exceptional social work values and practice, supporting the development of others within the service.
* Knowledge of Child-care legislation.
* Skilled in the management of risk and assessment of children's needs.
* Great communication skills, able to explain complicated information simply.
* Knowledge of the issues that affect parenting capacity and the impact of deprivation on child development.
* Experience of Signs of Safety methodology.

To work as part of the team delivering services to Children In Need/In Need of Protection as part of an integrated service delivering high-quality services with families and carers.

The successful applicants for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS and Social Work England registration are paid by us.
Please note: the successful candidates will have a full driving licence to enable them to travel across the county.
