This is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office (City of London location) and 2 days working from home. Role Purpose: To provide operational support to customer-facing teams alongside the successful delivery of business projects, usually in relation to the launch of new products or process enhancements and typically involving software development. Responsibilities: Work with third party providers connected to the mortgage division to ensure strong operational efficiency is achieved. Assist with managing and delivery of departmental projects through their lifecycle including initial scoping, user acceptance testing and final deployment. Assist with regular reviews of systems to ensure accuracy of output and improving the external and internal customer journey. Attend regular meetings with third party system providers. Assist with producing and collating reports for relevant committee and project meetings Assist with the identification, planning and implementation of new products, processes and procedures. Identify opportunities and proactively make recommendations for system development and process improvements. Assist with the on-boarding and management of the professional panel including brokers, solicitors and surveyors. Assist with monitoring actions arising from reviews completed by control functions, such as Credit, Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit. Adhere to internal policy and regulatory requirements – FCA, PRA, AML, Prevention of Financial Crime, Data Protection etc. Undertake project and ad-hoc pieces of work at management request. Skills and Experience sought: Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within project based roles, typically as a business or project analyst. Experience working with a lending platform built in .Net. Experience working with and integrating APIs. Experience working for or within the financial services sector would be an advantage, preferably in the Mortgages sector. Previous exposure to credit or underwriting, not necessarily mandated. Strong Reporting Software skills are essential. Excel, Power BI and/or Google Data Studios would be an advantage. Relevant degree education (e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics) Experience with cloud-based databases and data warehouses would be useful.
