* Creating and implementing category plans for the wider company
* Focusing on achieving cost savings in your category
* Liaising with suppliers and stakeholders daily
* Engaging in a mix of BAU and project work
* Managing and negotiating contracts
What you'll need to succeed:The ideal candidate will have:
* Excellent procurement experience within a similar category i.e. managing MSPs, HR services, consultancy spend etc.
* Experience in Financial Services (or other regulated environment) is preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to take initiative and work autonomously
* Strong commercial acumen
