The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following:
• Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE or other)
• At least 1 year of teaching experience
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the UK curriculum standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles

About the role:
• As a Secondary Psychology and Sociology Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an engaging and dynamic curriculum that promotes critical thinking, self-awareness, and social responsibility
• You will inspire students to explore complex ideas, develop analytical skills, and connect classroom learning to real-world issues through interactive lessons, thought-provoking discussions, and innovative teaching strategies
Your responsibilities will include:
• Designing and delivering high-quality Psychology and Sociology lessons in accordance with the KS4 and KS5 curriculum standards
• Encouraging a learning environment that stimulates curiosity, debate, and independent inquiry
• Supporting students' academic and personal growth through pastoral care, experiential learning, and participation in extracurricular activities
• Demonstrating a growth mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and effective communication with all members of the school community
