We are looking for two highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Out-patient Physiotherapy Team based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. The post holders will work alongside Physiotherapists in the Outpatient setting assisting with the rehabilitation of patients with predominantly Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal conditions.
The Successful Candidates Will:
* Support patients completing prescribed exercise programmes using both gym and specialised equipment in the department.
* Issue walking aids and provide gait re-education.
* Work collaboratively with the Physiotherapists as well as some independent decision making.
* Complete administrative or non-clinical tasks to facilitate the running of the department.
The individuals must display excellent communication, teamworking and organisational skills, with an ability to work alone as well as part of the Physiotherapy team.
Physiotherapy Services support staff development through in-service training, appraisal processes, and supervision and CPD opportunities. There are also Lothian wide support networks available for all staff, additional details upon enquiry.
Permanent - Two part-time roles (20.72 hours). Please note: As this post is part-time the salary will be pro-rata.
