Titan Private Wealth is a well-established independent investment management business who provide portfolio management and stockbroking services to private clients. With full in-house back office, research and support teams, Titan Private Wealth are committed to providing an exceptional level of service to our clients which is achieved by developing long-term and trusted relationships. Titan Private Wealth our investment management arm, recently rebranded from Cardale, founded in 2003 and based in Harrogate.
Reporting into a designated member of the investment team, the Trainee will work within a team of Senior Investment Managers to provide support in all aspects of the investment management process.
Job Responsibilities
* To represent the company to clients, potential clients and introducers of clients at the standard necessary and to develop the business in accordance with strategic and financial objectives.
* To provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of investment managers. Participation in all aspects of client reporting, including periodic valuations, ad-hoc transactions and performance monitoring.
* Resolve queries from clients either by telephone or letter, with the assistance of qualified members of your team.
* To maintain the highest standards of compliance in keeping with the company’s obligations to clients, counterparties and the regulator.
* To adhere to the culture of compliance adopted throughout the company.
* To reflect company policy in service levels and to maintain all necessary records in the event of any material deviation.
* To provide the necessary back-up when the usual dealer is absent (once fully trained and assessed as competent).
* To develop own professional expertise through on the job training, formal training and professional qualifications.
* To ensure that they familiarise themselves and abide by the company’s value statement and policy with regard to TCF (Treating Customers Fairly).
* To ensure that they familiarise themselves and abide by company policy on Client Data Security.
* To ensure that they are fully familiar with the company’s Anti-Money Laundering regulations and that they comply with these.
* To be fully familiar with the company’s complaint handling procedures.
* To carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required.
* To be fully familiar with Health & Safety Policy rules and regulations (including Driving on Company Business if relevant).
* To maintain compliance with the honesty and integrity, training and competence and financial soundness requirements of the Fit and Proper Test for Approved Person (FIT) and all Principles applying to approved persons in the Statements of Principle and Code of Practice for Approved Persons (APER).
* Adhere to consumer duty.
