We are currently looking for the perfect candidate to fill a vacancy for the role of team leader in charge of the building cleaning team. The role involves the supervision of all cleaning staff who are responsible for commercial standard cleaning of office buildings, vacant homes and communal areas in council flats. You will be focusing on their performance, standards of cleanliness, ensuring that a first-class cleaning service is delivered, reviewing work schedules, ordering cleaning materials and monitoring all cleaning activities. This is a working team leader role which involves carrying out cleaning activities. Our ideal candidate will have experience of team leading/staff management. A background in commercial cleaning or comparable sectors would be very beneficial. You will be required to work some weekend and bank holidays on a rota basis, so flexibility is an essential requirement of this role. You will need to be a proactive and positive person who can contribute to the commercial activities undertaken and have a positive influence on the reputation of the service.
