Inclusion Practitioner Location: Oldham Salary: £16.11 PH Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday - Friday About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Inclusion Practitioner to join our school team. This role is integral to ensuring that all students, particularly those with additional needs, receive the support they require to thrive both academically and socially. You will work closely with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to create an inclusive learning environment where every student can reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students with additional needs, including SEND and SEMH. Work 1:1 and in small groups to support students' learning, engagement, and well-being. Implement and develop strategies to promote inclusion across the school. Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt lessons and resources to meet individual student needs. Support the implementation of behaviour management strategies and emotional regulation techniques. Work closely with families, external professionals, and school staff to create personalised support plans. Contribute to the school's safeguarding and pastoral care efforts, ensuring the well-being of all students.Requirements: Experience working with children or young people in an educational, pastoral, or support role. Understanding of SEND, SEMH, and inclusive education strategies. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
