We're looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our Cash for Kids team in Stockton on Tees on a full-time permanent basis.
As the Operations Coordinator, you will support the Operations Manager in ensuring the charity runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. You will be overseeing workplace governance, refining operational procedures, and maintaining quality assurance.
Acting as a key link between the Cash for Kids teams, donors, beneficiaries, and external stakeholders, you will ensure seamless communication and workflow. You'll also focus on following processes, resolving challenges, and providing administrative support to the Operations Manager to enhance overall operational efficiency.
This is a hybrid position where you will work from home and our office in Stockton on Tees.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting people management tasks, including processing new starters, leavers, and organisational changes while liaising with the Bauer HR Department.
* Managing diaries by scheduling regular and ad hoc meetings.
* Coordinating training sessions and organising local inductions for new starters and senior managers.
* Maintaining and filing compliance and legal documentation, including lottery licenses and fundraising agreements, as well as monitoring and logging mandatory safeguarding requirements.
* Providing administrative support for national fundraising campaigns, including Mission Christmas and Cash for Kids Day.
* Assisting with the organisation of internal conferences and staff events.
* Assisting with travel arrangements and office supply management.
* Managing multiple email inboxes, handling calls, and redirecting queries as needed.
What You'll Bring:
* Experience in an administrative role with NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.
* Excellent organization, multitasking, and deadline management.
* Attention to detail in processes, compliance, and communications.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and various database and software applications.
* Proactive problem-solving, adaptability, and strong time management in a fast-paced environment.
* Understanding of data protection, health and safety, and handling confidential information with discretion.
* Flexible, self-motivated, and eager to learn and grow within the organisation.
