Band 2 Porter/Housekeeper - Endoscopy Unit 37.5 Hours Available
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the Endoscopy team at Carlisle. The role will involve weekend work and bank holidays. Part-Time hours will be considered.
The role involves the transfer of patients, daily housekeeping duties, and managing the endoscopes going between the decontamination unit and Endoscopy. Excellent communication and IT skills are essential for this role as applicants will be trained to order all stock on our electronic system.
We recommend coming to visit the unit and spend a day prior to the interview.
Main duties of the job
* Transfer of patients to and from wards/departments within the hospital
* Daily cleaning and housekeeping duties
* Ordering of Endoscopy stock
* Management of Endoscopes (Storing within drying cabinets and removing)
* Managing endoscopes going between Endoscopy Unit and Decontamination Unit
