Job Description
Are you driven by curiosity and a passion for continuous improvement? We’re looking for a talented and motivated Conversion Rate Optimisation Specialist to join our dynamic Conversion Journey Optimisation team. If you’re eager to learn, thrive on making a difference and are committed to creating exceptional customer outcomes, this is your chance to have a meaningful impact.
In this role, you’ll combine analytical problem solving with strong collaboration skills to identify and unlock high value opportunities for our customers. Partnering with teams across the business, you’ll drive and deliver customer centric improvement through a Conversion Rate Optimisation lens that enhances our digital omnichannel journeys.
What you'll be doing:
1. Support the CRO programme across all priority L&G Retail journeys, working closely with the CRO Managers and Product Owners to improve KPIs.
2. Support the delivery of actionable insight from qualitative and quantitative data. Drive value from all our optimisation tools, digital capability, and customer research to identify highest friction points and opportunities in the journey, maximising the digital customer experience focusing on segmentation and personalisation, whilst meeting Consumer Duty standards.
3. Define, brief, or build and deliver A/B tests – ensuring you balance speed and quality of delivery in order to deliver statistically significant, repeatable and sustainable increments of value.
4. Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment of the backlog and test-and-learn methodology, reporting on incremental gains whilst taking successful A/B tests to production and ensuring maximum insight is gained from all experiments.
5. Champion a data-driven, tech-enabled, customer-centric experimentation culture. Promote CRO best practices and capabilities across the wider team and key business areas.
6. Identify opportunities to improve customer outcomes and meet the highest Consumer Duty standards.
7. Gain an in-depth knowledge of Legal & General's digital estate, as well as our online business model and measurement strategy.
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
1. Good analytical capability (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics etc.), ideally including working with segmented customer data to deliver personalised experiences.
2. Basic understanding of session playback, heat maps, form analytics (SessionCam, HotJar, Decibel, FullStory etc.).
3. Basic understanding of direct customer feedback and usability testing (Qualtrics, Qualaroo, Usabilla, UserTesting, UserZoom etc.).
4. Basic understanding of A/B testing and statistics (e.g. Adobe Target, Oracle Maxymiser, Optimisely, VWO, etc.).
5. Knowledge of the latest optimisation technology, industry trends and best practices - you’ll become our technical go-to person for day-to-day queries.
6. Collaborative, with strong relationship building skills, comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders (CRO and content managers, product owners, developers, designers, compliance, data scientists, product managers, marketers, commercial directors, and third-party agencies).
7. Strong communication (verbal, written and presentation).
8. Basic knowledge of web technologies and front-end development: tag management systems, data layers, single-page applications and content management systems.
Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:
1. The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance-related bonus plan and valuable share schemes.
2. Generous pension contribution.
3. Life assurance.
4. Private medical insurance (permanent employees only).
5. At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service. There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday.
6. Competitive family leave.
7. Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax efficient salary sacrifice.
8. There are the many discounts we offer – both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online.
9. In 2023, some of our workspaces were redesigned. Our offices are great spaces to connect and collaborate and have your wellbeing at the heart.
