Job summary Royal Manor Health Care is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and well organised Nursing Associate or Practice Nurse. As a Nurse Associate or Practice Nurse you will need to be flexible and hardworking as part of your role you will be seeing patients in the surgery and sometimes within patient homes, under minimal supervision once you have demonstrated your clinical competencies adhering to Royal Manor policies. Working within a variety of staff groups and settings, communication skills are a key skill. There is a requirement to have good IT skills as the surgery uses electronic patient records via SystmOne. For a Nursing Associate you will be required to have completed or about to complete the Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care or equivalent higher apprenticeship. For a Practice Nurse you will be required to be a registered nurse RGN/RN with practice nurse experience. Main duties of the job The Nursing Associate / Practice Nurses has a breadth of knowledge across the lifespan and across the fields of nursing, providing holistic and person centred care and support for people of all ages and in a variety of settings. The nursing associate works independently under the leadership of registered nurses, working within the sphere of nursing and care and within all aspects of the nursing process. Nursing Associates / Practice Nurses are equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behaviours relevant to employment as a nursing associate and will work to a nationally recognised code of conduct.
