Job Description
We are now seeking a Lecturer to teach primarily on Level 2 and Level 3 BTEC Business programmes. Taking responsibility for the group tutorship of one or more of the courses within the School, you'll contribute to the development of existing and new provision and develop and implement student assessment strategies.
We're looking for someone who is educated to degree level or holds a relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject and who has links to the industry, relevant external agencies and validating bodies. With energy, enthusiasm and passion for the subject and education, you'll hold a qualification in teaching, have excellent teaching skills and relevant teaching experience on BTEC programmes in Business across a range of levels.
With high personal standards and expectations, you will have good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills, and be able to work well under pressure to agreed deadlines. You will have an awareness of academic quality standards and be receptive to new ideas and initiatives, with a creative approach to problem solving.
