Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a pro-active sales support person to join our team in delivering exceptional service and profitable growth. In particular, we’re looking for someone to support us in the areas of our CNC (Computer Numerical Control) routing service and LED lighting products. If you love building great customer relationships, developing accounts to achieve targets, and being part of a team, this role is for you!
What you’ll be doing:
* Trade Counter: Develop a working knowledge of our products and services to serve as first point of contact at our trade counter.
* CNC Service: Develop a working knowledge of our CNC routing service and V-Carve software package sufficient to quote & process sales orders.
* LED Lighting Specialist: Develop a working product knowledge of our LED lighting products and software package sufficient to quote & process sales orders.
* New Business Development: Develop and agree methods to obtain additional new business. Proactively seek out new opportunities and follow up initial sales leads.
* Develop Your Sales Territory: Identify accounts with potential to grow, develop and monitor growth plans to achieve targets. Develop your area to meet sales and profit targets.
* Administrative Support: Support the Sales Team Leader and Sales Team to help ensure Creatio CRM and AX records are regularly updated.
* Build Customer Relationships: Maintain a pro-active call out programme to develop contacts and relationships with customers that ensure we are first choice when placing orders. Log outcomes of calls and update customer data. Utilise CRM system to categorise customers for business reporting.
* Competitor Analysis: Develop awareness of competitive activity and to report changes in the marketplace.
* Maintain Your Diary: Maintain a daybook and other procedures in accordance with the Company’s Standard Practice Instructions.
* Be Part of a Team: Understand the role of Credit Control and all other departments of the Company and promote good communications with all of them.
* Carry out other reasonable tasks: which may be required for the profitable operation of the business.
Experience:
* V-Carve CNC software: (Preferred, training provided)
* Microsoft Dynamics AX: (Preferred, training provided)
* Sheet plastics and vinyls industry: (Preferred, training provided)

* Ability to thrive in fast paced commercial environment and work under pressure
* Ability to take on responsibility and develop as a capable and dependable member of a successful team
* Confident with numbers and able to work with commercial data and pricing details
* Happy to support and learn from successful experienced colleagues
