Summary of the Role: We're on the look out for a Electrical Technical Support Engineer to be based out of the company's HQ, assisting customers with a solution-led sell, listening and understanding what the customers need and suggesting best-fit products to match their requirements or project specifications. Must have experience/knowledge of Switchgear/controls etc You could have either worked for a distributor or manufacturer in the past or perhaps an electrician looking to transition off the tools into a desk-based role. As part of our dynamic Controls Team, you will: • Provide expert product advice on contactors, relays, circuit breakers, switch disconnectors and a wide range of control and switchgear products. • Solve customer challenges by finding innovative solutions, including locating alternatives for obsolete parts. • Collaborate directly with customers via phone or email, interpreting product specifications, and offering tailored quotations. • Stay up to date with industry developments through continuous training from leading franchises like ABB, Eaton and Siemens. What We’re Looking For: • Technical expertise: A solid understanding of switchgear products and their applications. • Industry experience: A background in the electrical or controls sector.
