When it comes to innovation and achievement there are few organisations with a better track record. Join us and you’ll play a big part in the success of our highly successful, fast-paced business that opens up Europe so people can exercise their get-up-and-go. With over 300 aircraft flying over 800 routes to more than 30 countries, we’re the UK’s largest airline, the second largest in Europe and the tenth largest in the world. Flying over 80 million passengers a year, we employ over 13,000 people. It’s big-scale stuff and we’re still growing.
In Digital Channels, we strive for high-performing teams who can build and deploy their apps quickly and safely. Our development culture is one of ownership and trust.
The Team
Our Digital Channels team works on and is responsible for the easyjet.com ecommerce booking website. As part of the team, you have the opportunity to develop front ends that handle millions of visits and transactions every month. We have modernised a lot of the experience over the last couple of years, and currently, there is a focus on migrating from our remaining Angular/.Net monolith to a new Next.js microservice stack.
Our teams consist of 50+ developers with architects, POs, BAs, and QAs that own many of our React micro frontends. The team is a mixture of easyJet developers and some of the leading digital agencies. We run an active internal developer community where you get to learn and interact with many other developers within easyJet and across our suppliers.
This is an opportunity for a passionate Front End developer who wants to work on one of the UK’s busiest ecommerce websites and take our front ends to the next level.

As part of the role, you will work with other easyJet digital developers and with other developers from some of the leading agencies.
We are looking for someone who has experience developing digital experiences using the latest BFF patterns and micro frontend architecture. Someone who understands how to build applications but also understands that their services should be independent and quickly deployable through automated CI/CD pipelines. A person who is passionate about the applications they deliver from build through to run.
