We are a specialist recruitment agency working with an innovative organization seeking a skilled Infrastructure Liaison Manager to cover the EMEA region. This role offers the opportunity to operate at the forefront of infrastructure operations, bridging technical expertise with business acumen in a dynamic and evolving environment.
The Role:
As the Infrastructure Liaison Manager, you will occupy a pivotal position within the Infrastructure Leadership Team. Acting as an ambassador for evolving systems and entities, you will facilitate relationships and lead on non-standard activities and technical projects. This is a unique opportunity to blend technical proficiency, leadership, and interpersonal skills to drive the success of infrastructure operations across the EMEA region and beyond.
Key responsibilities include:
* Acting as the primary liaison for technical integrations, including supporting due diligence processes for acquisitions.
* Facilitating relationships between entities, engineering teams, security operations, and support functions.
* Leading technical projects that fall outside established structures or processes, ensuring their successful execution.
* Supporting and participating in technical audits to ensure consistency across the region and organization.
* Steering troubleshooting efforts and providing guidance for complex challenges.
* Acting as a mentor to staff across the region, fostering professional development and growth.
* Providing unbiased, impartial advice to protect company interests while designing and implementing solutions.
This is not a sales position but may appeal to professionals with a technical pre-sales background who excel at balancing stakeholder needs with technical delivery.
Key Skills and Experience:
* 10+ years of experience in the IT industry.
* Proven experience managing teams and individuals, demonstrating natural leadership ability both with and without formal reporting lines.
* A strong track record of delivering technological environments.
* Highly analytical and capable of innovative problem-solving.
* Broad knowledge of generic infrastructure technologies and industry best practices.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly with senior managers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
* Ability to perform under pressure and remain composed in challenging, often politically sensitive, situations.
* Flexibility to thrive in a fluid organizational structure, balancing teamwork and independence.
* Fluent in English (essential); additional language skills are advantageous.
