Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Work Days & Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

About the Role
Working as part of a multi-skilled team made up of the brightest Designers, Developers, Product Owners, Researchers and Analyst; our latest Senior UX Designer will be naturally driven with a flair for thinking outside the box. With proven experience of successfully designing usable and aesthetically-pleasing e-commerce sites, you will be crucial in making a strategic focus on improving the mobile app experience and will be pivotal in delivering these changes to the wider business!
Our Product Team make up some of the best and brightest in the industry, who hold a true passion for improving one of our many exciting products, helping people across the business get closer to the user, providing greater visibility of their wants, needs and behaviours.
With aspirations of being the UK's number one holiday rental agency, we are experiencing a surge in bookings following a staycation boom meaning we are busier than ever, reaching record numbers for bookings and expanding our team with the best and brightest local talent to continue our success!
Your Responsibilities
From day one in your new position, you will be applying your skills to create user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing experiences, quickly implementing ideas and suggestions as part of a fast-moving programme of change designed to increase conversion.
As well as this, you will be key in mentoring, coaching and managing our passionate Designers within UX, while taking the lead in building relationships with the rest of the business, clarifying the brand and technical requirements in order to deliver the relevant changes.
A typical day will see you:
Applying creative, technical and interaction design skills to design usable and aesthetically-pleasing websites
Implementing ideas and suggestions quickly and efficiently as part of a fast-moving programme of changes and experiments
Being instrumental in improving the online customer experience in order to improve conversion and serve the business’ commercial objectives
Communicating effectively with product owners to clarify brand and aesthetic requirements as well as technical impediments
Working collaboratively with an Agile team to expedite both projects and regular, incremental updates to web sites
Playing a role in shaping and developing the UX team, sustaining an environment that facilitates high performance and motivates individuals towards the goal of serving customers better
Contributing as a team member and work collaboratively and courteously with other staff members and project stakeholders to meet business objectives
The growth, development and support of other UX Designers, along with the progression to the UX capability within the team and across the department
Skills and Qualifications

All we ask if you have the following:
Proven experience working or studying in a similar role
Knowledge of multiple design methods and principles and how to apply them
Experience using design and prototyping tools such as Moqups, Sketch, Framer, or similar
Able to work with both qualitative and quantitative data
Understanding of some research methods and how to apply them
Able to articulate design decisions to stakeholders across the business
Clear communicator
Comfortable collaborating with multiple people across differing skill sets
Open to challenges and new ways of approaching problems
Experience turning research insights into design solutions
Understanding of human biases or behaviours and how they can influence people
Understanding of Lean and Agile ways of working in multi-disciplinary squads
Understanding of A/B testing and experimentation
Experience using research and insight tools such as UserZoom, ContentSquare, or similar
Experience managing people and workflows using relevant tools and techniques
Although standouts will also have:
Bachelor's or Masters Degree in UX Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or similar
Experience facilitating workshops using variety of techniques and methods
Experience shaping and influencing department and business strategies
