Temp to Perm Role (initial 3 months) Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant Hourly Rate: £14 Location: Canvey Island Job Type: Part-time (3 days per week, 24 hours) We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for someone who is proficient in managing books efficiently and accurately. The position involves credit control, handling both purchase and sales ledgers, bank reconciliations, and general day-to-day accounting duties. Day-to-day of the role: Conduct credit control activities to ensure timely payments. Manage purchase and sales ledgers. Perform bank reconciliations to check for accuracy. Handle general accounting duties as required. Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant. Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
