They are now seeking a candidate who will drive sales and manage the sales team effectively to ensure high-performance. With a good knowledge of chemical sales, the successful candidate will have experience of managing a team and a proven track record of developing sales strategies to achieve growth. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for raw chemical materials across various industries Identify key markets, define customer segments, and analyse competitive landscapes to drive growth Set revenue targets and sales objectives for the team, and lead the team of sales representatives to achieve sales goals and KPIs. Maintain in-depth knowledge of chemical products and market trends to help guide both personal sales efforts and the team's sales approach. Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with key accounts and high-value clients, offering personalized service and tailored chemical solutions. Monitor their satisfaction and address any issues that may arise. Collaborate with departments such as logistics, marketing, and R&D to align sales efforts with production capabilities and customer needs. Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement. Candidate Profile: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team of sales representatives Experience in coaching, mentoring, and improving the performance of team members Strong ability to close deals, negotiate effectively, and achieve sales targets In-depth knowledge of chemical raw materials and their applications across various industries Skilled in building and nurturing strong customer relationships. Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies and plans Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field. At least 4 years of experience in chemical sales, with some experience in a management role Industry-specific certifications or training in sales, product management, or safety (e.g., REACh, ISO, OSHA) would be an advantage.
