This is a newly created position and presents an outstanding opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take their career to the next level, reporting to the General Manager. Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Direct the preparation and timely delivery of monthly management accounts and financial reports. Oversee weekly cash flow forecasting Coordinate the preparation, monitoring, and updating of budgets and costing systems to support informed strategic decisions. Conduct detailed financial analysis to drive continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with all taxation deadlines, maintaining strong professional relationships with auditors and other external stakeholders. Assume full responsibility for the accuracy and reliability of credit control and purchase ledgers, while managing the performance of the Credit Control, Purchase Ledger, and Finance teams. Monitor trends for effective cash flow management.. Evaluate ad hoc business proposals and perform investment analyses to support decision-making. Your Experience: Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) Advanced technical expertise in finance, with a track record of managing complex financial operations. Proven leadership and team development capabilities, coupled with excellent people management skills. Strong commercial acumen and a strategic approach to financial management and planning. Flexibility to travel occasionally, including overnight stays when needed Outstanding problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges and driving change. Experience collaborating with remote teams and overseeing projects across multiple locations.
