Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated practice nurse to join our dynamic nursing team, which consists of three Practice Nurses and one Nurse Associate. The post holder will use their nursing skills to deliver the highest standards of nursing care in accordance with evidence-based practice and national practice protocols. We are a team of 2 GP partners, 3 GPs, 2 Practice Nurses, a Nurse Associate, a pharmacist plus a team of 12 admin and clerical staff members working alongside in-house PCN staff, with approximately 5250 patients. Develop an understanding of general practice care delivery standards, inclusive of QOF points and support the Practice to achieve these. To utilise clinical skills in long term chronic disease management including asthma, CHD, CKD, diabetes, dementia, hypertension and respiratory Immunisations Wound care management including dressings, suture removal and ulcer care. ECG recording Performing diagnostic procedures including BP, peak flow, and urine testing Spirometry recording and interpretation.
