Due to a growing team we are looking for a Senior Travel and Expense Analyst to join us here at Airbus Defence and Space based in Newport, South Wales.
Reporting directly to the Head of Expenses you will provide support for the audit and accounting process of all Travel and Expense costs across 4 Airbus Defence and Space UK entities.
You will be responsible for the daily posting of expenses into financial systems (SAP & OneOffice), bi-weekly payment runs, quality checks on expense providers audit of expense claims and adherence to UK Tax laws.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM:
* Posting of monthly journals for Travel costs and suspense account management.
* Manage overdue balances on employee corporate credit cards, work with card provider on issues/improvements.
* Develop strong knowledge of the expense tool to manage employee & business queries and request changes/updates when needed.
* Ensure all Airbus Policies for Expenses, Travel, E&C & Payment channels are followed within the expense process.
* Reporting – monthly internal controls to check for fraud, ad hoc reports to the business.
* Email/Hub communication to employees for guidance on policy/process.
ABOUT YOU:
* SAP / GSuite experience.
* Be able to multitask on day to day activities and meet deadlines, prioritise and adjust to different workload volumes.
* The position will involve interaction with various different parts of the business such as HR, TAX, finance, procurement and E&C, plus different external providers, so good communication skills are key.
