‘Studio B’ are looking for our firstFinance Managerto join the team in London on a full-time or part-time basis!

As our first Finance Manager, you will take charge of setting up and managing the financial processes at Studio B. You will work closely with the leadership team to provide financial insights, ensure accurate accounting, and drive financial planning and growth. This is a hands-on role for a proactive individual who thrives in a start-up environment.
What You’ll Do:
Financial Strategy and Planning
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth.
• Work with leadership to create annual budgets and forecasts.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and leadership team.
Accounting and Reporting
• Oversee all financial transactions using Xero.
• Prepare and present monthly management accounts, cash flow statements, and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
Process and Systems Development
• Design and implement robust financial systems and controls.
• Use Monday.com to manage workflows and integrate financial reporting into project management.
• Streamline invoicing, payroll, and expense management.
Audit and Compliance
• Manage year-end audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Ensure timely submission of VAT, PAYE, and other statutory filings.
Team Collaboration
• Work closely with the sales, operations, and production teams to align financial planning with business goals.
• Support hiring and onboarding processes for future finance team members.

Requirements:
* Experience:Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant preferably in the creative, media, arts, or advertising industries and
* Systems: Familiarity with Xero(essential) and Monday.com (preferred) experience.
* Education: Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
* Technical Skills:Strong understanding of financial planning, reporting, and compliance with proficiencyin Excel and financial modelling.
