The Marketing function is right in the middle of this; building our brand, nurturing, engaging and acquiring new audiences, and supporting how customer prosper through retention. As we enter this new era, we need a proven and senior marketing professional to lead and develop Product Marketing, with growth and revenue being front of mind. You will be an impressive, creative, and charismatic leader in marketing that can become the right hand to the CMO for global marketing operations, be a partner to sales leaders and devise the strategies and plans that ensure our marketing go-to-market and delivery is innovative, inspired, and impactful. You will back that up with a determination to hit revenue numbers and instil that same drive and passion in others across the team. You will be someone that gains instant buy-in across C-suite leaders, and the wider business. You’ll be someone that can be the strategic partner for Events, Creative, Digital, and Comms to influence and support their overall direction of travel. You will be someone that takes ownership and ensures we build the best-in-class product marketing function that can enable our UK and international growth, support retention, and ultimately allow to offer maximum value to schools. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver a global marketing strategy and plan to drive demand generation, revenue pipeline, brand awareness & customer marketing. Develop the team and structure with revenue budgets front of mind, in line with wider business objectives. Evolve our reporting and insights in a way that gives us a live picture of output and impact. Report to key stakeholders on the successes, failures and learnings of marketing campaigns, using data to back up your insights and recommendations. Build and develop a strong team of marketers that are effective, efficient, creative and impactful. Partner with Sales leadership to identify the key levers to grow revenue. Partner with product to create and execute go-to-market plans for new and updated products. Build regional story and narrative to position our products. Involve, empower and hold team members accountable for their contributions so that they are passionate, driven and impactful in their actions. Manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximise ROI. Never stand still in evolving the team, our messaging, our approaches, our processes and effectiveness. Work collaboratively with fellow marketing professionals to support overall Marketing objectives and ensure a wider aligned and purposeful approach. Act as a senior leader of Tes, providing presentations, supporting the delivery of workshops, and ensuring the company messages, plans and culture is led by your example. Outstanding writing and communication skills. Proven experience in senior leadership roles. Experience of driving revenue marketing, growth marketing, or product marketing for a SaaS business. Experienced of managing a diverse team where they can mentor, drive and inspire. Experienced in international operations. Experienced in lead generation and partnering with Sales to maximise revenue. Proven experience of finding creative ways to explain traditional ideas, features, or benefits. Proven and demonstrable experience of planning, launching and growing products and services. Strong ability to work with and present to C-suite stakeholder. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in interpreting data to drive strategic decision-making. Strong focus for the end user, maximising their experience, and understanding their user problems and needs. Hugely personable, diplomatic, pragmatic and agile. Strong experience of planning, building and managing budgets. Proven partner to support and influence the strategy for events, digital, and creative/design. Proven success in companies going through change or transformation. Ability to work and collaborate across functions and within a matrix environment. Experience of driving e-commerce strategies and plans. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable marketing plans, creative and messaging.
