Reporting to the Technical Systems Manager and Site Technical Lead, the Technical Systems Coordinator plays a key role in managing and maintaining the site’s Food Safety and Quality Management System. As a Food Safety and Quality Champion, you will ensure compliance with legislation, customer standards, and business needs while supporting daily operations and technical systems coordination. Working closely with internal teams and liaising with customers, you’ll drive quality initiatives and assist in delivering technical excellence. Additional duties may be assigned by the Technical Systems Manager or Site Technical Lead to support the smooth running of the site. Pay: £11.87 per hourly Assisting the Technical Systems manager with the running and co-ordination of the Technical Systems aspect of the business and will be one of the key Food Safety and Quality Champions for the site. Assist with the management, implementation, development and maintenance of the Food Safety Quality Management System that meets all current legislation, codes of practise, customer requirements and relevant business needs. Work in conjunction with the Technical Management team, NPD, Account Managers, Production, Engineering and other relevant department Management teams. Liaise with customers and all other disciplines in the business as required. Any other reasonable duties as required by the Technical Systems Manager / Site Technical Lead. Proven track record of achievement in a quality/technical role. Experience of providing technical support to management teams. Good influencing and communication skills. Ability to actively promote best practice and encourage factory teams to accept and make change. Knowledge of microbiological and chemical testing. At least two years’ experience in a technical food manufacturing environment, preferably with a Food Science related qualification. Flexible in working hours to meet the needs of the business as required.
