Electrical Compliance Manager Borehamwood
Danny Sullivan Group are searching for an Electrical Compliance Manager for a role with a large power and utilities contractor working on large scale projects across the UK.
The ideal candidate for this role would understand managing electrical authorisations, carrying out audits, providing training support and maintaining key documentation as well as major accreditations.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain electrical authorisations and assessments, collaborating with all seven Distribution Network Operators (DNOs).
Support SHEQ Managers (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) by delivering customised electrical awareness training, carrying out routine inspections, audits, and inductions.
Oversee the dissemination of electrical safety alerts, bulletins, and incident investigations.
Develop and maintain key electrical documentation, including procedures, policies, and risk assessments (RAMs), ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Manage the MES Safety Passport and operational procedures for a workforce of over 1,600 employees.
Lead a team of national assessors, ensuring staff training and competencies are current and compliant with NERs and LRQA standards.
Represent the company in HESA, AMO, and EUSR, ensuring continuous compliance and implementation of best practices across all electrical operations.
Support tendering teams and contract managers by ensuring that all electrical compliance requirements are met within project frameworks.
Experience/Qualifications:
Proven experience in electrical compliance management, particularly within the construction or energy services sector.
Relevant qualifications e.g. Electrical, Electrical Mechanical etc.
Strong understanding of national safety regulations and compliance frameworks.
Ability to manage large-scale operational processes and a national team of assessors.
A safety-first mindset with a track record of leading incident investigations and maintaining high standards of electrical safety.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
