About the Role:
To support the maintenance of assets to meet statutory, regulatory minimum standards for housing, and installation, repair and maintenance obligations as a landlord (under the tenancy agreement). To contribute to the provision of good quality rented housing and the achievement of high levels of tenant satisfaction, improving the landlord and tenant relationships and protecting health and safety.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in all aspects of floor and wall finishes including wet-room wall boarding.
* Experience in repairs, new build, maintenance, or contract environments, including assessing and inspecting jobs, and updating records.
* The ability to use the necessary power tools and plant safely, as well as the ability to follow all safety procedures on and off-site.
* Experience of carrying out investigations and tests to identify faults and the root cause of issues and implement lasting solutions.
* Ability to use elements of the skills of other general trades to meet the target of first-time fix where it is efficient and appropriate to do so.
* Ability to demonstrate an organised but flexible approach, and the ability to meet deadlines.
