Job Title
Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a Head of Technical Account Management to act as the interface between our business and major retailers. This role involves managing a mid-sized team of Technical Account Managers, building strong relationships with customers, and serving as the point of escalation for any issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a point of escalation to resolve customer issues, ensuring strong outcomes for the business, suppliers, and customers.
* Develop strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, including commercial counterparts.
* Facilitate retail customer visits to growers/packhouses.
* Oversee preparation of management reports for internal leadership, suppliers, and customers.
* Lead food safety, social, and environmental initiatives, working with commercial and marketing teams around crisis management plans and customer communications.
* Drive a consistent culture of quality within the organization.
Requirements:
* Senior leadership experience as a Head of Technical Accounts or Senior Technical Account Manager in a relevant industry (fruit preferred, but wider food industry considered).
* Experience in people management.
* A pragmatic approach, identifying risks and solution-focused courses of action.
* Strong food safety and product integrity knowledge.
* Strong communication skills, adaptable to different teams both internally and with customers/suppliers.
* A commercial mindset, understanding how Technical, Commercial, and Supply Chain functions work.
